"someday I just try to be adventurous & different."

In order to be the best you, you should never change who you are for other people. It's simple. If you want to achieve your dreams, you just have to be the best version of you, for you.

Truly, everything else follows once you start loving yourself.

As what Rachel Zoe said, "Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak"  and we're beyond grateful to have found one who does it with utmost class.

what inspires you?

"Elie Saab is to romantic; Valentino is to timeless; Alexander McQueen is to clandestine; and I could go on & on about fashion designers who’s creations are defined by magazines, celebrities or basically anyone who has heart for fashion – They inspire me.

The fact that the public can define their creation is my goal: that someday I can project my personality and characteristic to the outside world through my wardrobe. "

how did this inspiration lead you to make your masterpiece?

"Most of us open our closets, stare for a few minutes, scan through the stack of clothes & conclude that we have nothing to wear (guilty!) but it’s really the lack of resources that challenges one to be even more creative.

To me, how I present myself to the public is important thus resulting the choice of my outfit. A little mix-and-match won’t hurt. I just try to be adventurous & different but most importantly, I keep in mind that what I wear is what I want to express and they are my own, not anyone else’s."

In the world of bandwagons, trendsetters, and out-of-the-ordinary get-ups, IYA POON is definitely the gal to watch out for as she takes the fashion world by storm. Not only is she out to not follow trends but make them, her humble beginnings  with fashion revolves around her belief of just being true to yourself. By continuing on her craft and expressing her inspiration through her wardrobe, we're pretty sure she has a lot up her sleeves that are soon to be credible enough to be noticed by style icons and magazines in the fashion industry. Just don't forget The Rack featured her first ;)
