WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
"The thing about any art is that it's directed towards different specific audiences with different inspirations. To do so, I draw inspiration from anything and everything that can possibly connect towards my audience.
It could be the environment, it could be the food, it could even be the people themselves.
Right now, I've been doing a lot of nightlife and events photography, so I pick up pieces of inspiration from the culture of clubbing and the millennials that do.
But who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll be doing fashion editorials and I'll be piecing together different inspiration, too?"
HOW DID THIS INSPIRATION LEAD YOU TO MAKE YOUR MASTERPIECE?
I started "professional photography" so-to-speak less than a year ago, which means I'm still yet to create my masterpiece.
I haven't done much concept photography yet or produced my own exhibit though.
That being said, I'm still finding my unique style as well.Those are all dreams that are in the works.
For now, my inspiration of reaching out to different specific audiences is what drives me to producing bigger things with my unique style.
It's the excitement to determine my style that is most universal to audiences that really pushes me to achieving my "masterpiece".
Barely in her twenties - Acushla or "Kush" Obusan has already ticked off majority of her goals in the classiest and head-turning way possible and we're more than sure her list doesn't stop there.
Not only is she a style spotter, writer, photographer, and content creator, she also continues to seek the thrill of hustling for greatness by being passion driven in improving her craft, without having her young age define her.
A true professional gem in the sea of goal-seekers, Kush is definitely the gal who has the skill to make it big in the industry. Having an amazing drive that most people admire, we're pretty sure we'll be seeing her around for a long time.
